Meet Our Coaches

Alice Clarke: Level 2
Head Coach
I have been involved with the club for many years now, I first started diving by seeing it whilst I was swimming. Once I turned 17, I decided to do my coaching course as a way into a new career. Since then, I have completed my level 2 coaching course and am now the head coach of the programme at Cambridge.

Dan Murphy: Level 2
Professional Coach/Senior Coach
I have been involved with Cambridge dive team since 2007 and was first introduced into the sport through the TID testing programme. Since that time, I have dived competitively at a national level up until 2017 after which I pursued a career in coaching. My first experience of coaching was when I was fourteen as a poolside helper and I also completed a sports leadership programme at secondary school. Since then, I’ve finished both my level one and level two coaching courses, starting my career as a Learn to Dive coach before taking a more active role within the club as a squad coach.

Coaching Apprenticeships
We believe that a strong diving community comes from supporting not just our athletes, but our coaches too.
Our apprenticeship scheme gives new coaches the chance to learn, grow and gain hands-on experience alongside our team. By sharing our knowledge and creating opportunities, we’re proud to help the next generation of coaches develop their skills and confidence, while giving back to the sport we all love.
